About the Social Enterprise

Social Enterprise Istoriali was founded within the Social organization “International Center of Art. It became Social Enterprise in 2012.

Mission of Social Enterprise

The SE strives to increase people’s awareness towards traditional Georgian culture and facilitate Economic sustainability. 

Goal of Social Enterprise

The SE aims at creating job opportunities for local artisans, promoting modern economical approaches in traditional Georgian craft industry and maintaining traditions.

Product/Service of Social Enterprise

The SE offers its customers several gift items. Design of these items is informed by archeological artifacts. Collection comprises of up to 200 items like Women’s and men’s jewelry (necklaces, earrings, rings etc.), table accessories and corporate gift sets. 

Social Results

  • The SE employs up to 25 beneficiaries, who are doing several tasks at SE.
  • The SE reinvests its revenue to develop traditional Georgian craft, increase its popularity and implement programs, which aim to protect cultural heritage.
  • Collections of Istoriali facilitate promotion of Georgian culture not only in Georgia but in abroad as well. Through its activities Istoriali managed to introduce modern economic approaches in traditional Georgian craft industry, strengthened the sustainability of the field and increased its popularity among young people.
