Green Gift

About social enterprise

The SE “Green Gift” was established by four Georgian Enthusiasts thanks to generous financial support of EU. The SE was funded in the framework of joint project of CSRDG, EDEC and ASB Georgia. Currently the organization has up to 40 partners who provide them with used paper and contribute to the environment protection.

Mission of Social Enterprise

Facilitate the sustainable development, strengthen waste management policy and create jobs.

The values of Green Gift are equality, inclusive environment, rule of law and working rights.

The SE “Green Gift” aims to recycle used stationery paper and produce new products.

Goal of Social Enterprise

The goal of SE is environmental protection, improvement of social-economic conditions of Georgian population through waste management and infrastructure development. It also strives to facilitate employment and integration of vulnerable groups.

Product/Service of SE 

  • The SE offers customers several services regarding waste management and products made from used paper;
  • Services; 
  • Collecting maculature (free of charge);
  • Disposal of archives;
  • Products; 
  • Wrapping papers;
  • Flipcharts;

Social Results

The supporters of SE are local social organizations and companies, which deployed green boxes in their offices and collect paper material for green gift free of charge. Currently green gift cooperates with 40 organizations and until now aggregated 2 tone of paper material.

The SE employs 2 locals and in the near future they are going to employ 4 others.
