About Social Enterprise

APNSC was established in 1990 and provides services for adults with intellectual disabilities. The daycare center-based workshops create a variety of handmade and practical items and accessories.

Mission of Social Enterprise

Introduce social therapy in Georgia and support the creation of a conducive environment for social integration of people with intellectual disabilities.

Product/Service of Social enterprise

Social Enterprise Day Care Center provides services to people with disabilities. There are 8 workshops within the day center: secondhand paper processing, candles, creative, textile and accessories printing, laser cutting and engraving workshops. 

Accordingly, the enterprise offers its customers a variety of products, in particular:

  • Wood decorative caskets;
  • Wall clocks made by decoupage technique;
  • Wooden accessories for the kitchen and interior;
  • Handmade candles;
  • Textile bags;
  • Greeting cards and books made from recycled paper;
  • Woolen and textile dolls and so on
  • For corporate customers, the enterprise prepares the design products they want.

Social Results

  • There are 50 persons with disabilities currently using the serving of enterprise;
  • There are training opportunities for those who are interested to work in this field.
