Social Enterprise Rainbow was founded in 2017 by the Georgia’s association of advocating social interests.
Mission of Social Enterprise
The SE aims to ensure accessibility to the childcare services.
Goal of Social Enterprise
The SE strives to develop service, which will ensure that all the children of ages 0-7 living in Telavi municipality will reveal all of their potential. It also aims at to increase the access for local children with disabilities to the state programs.
Product/Service of SE
Rainbow is Social Entrepreneurship in Telavi and Gurjaani municipality, which provides all children, who are not enrolled in government programs, with the following services:
Assessment of child’s abilities by multidisciplinary team, elaboration personal development plan, individual and group lessons, consultation of kindergarten teachers and specialists.
The service also involves three systems: Basic health care, facilitation of coordinated cooperation between the organization and parents.
Social Results
- The SE carried out 7 meetings at target villages on the topic-“Family’s role in the process of child’s development.” Up to 140 parents attended the meeting.;
- In order to ensure coordinated cooperation the SE conducted meetings with the teachers of kindergartens and schools of targeted villages;
- The SE also carried out screening of 500 children of ages 0-7.
