About the Social Enterprise

Social Enterprise Knowledge Café was founded in 2016 within N (N)LE “Civil Initiative”
Knowledge Café is situated in Tsnori and comprises of 4 spaces-Café, non-formal education center, multimedia library and book store

Mission of Social Enterprise

Social Enterprise strives to facilitate building strong villages and decentralization of culture and education in the regions.

Goal of Social Enterprise

The SE aims to be the space in Tsnori, which serves as a venue for cultural-educational activities. It also aims to facilitate engagement of youth in social life.

Product/Service of Social Enterprise

  • Knowledge Café comprises of the following spaces;
  • Multimedia library with more than 1000 modern books and computers;
  • Bookstore with books of more than 10 publishers at the lowest price in Georgia;
  • Non-formal education center, where the meetings, discussions and other activities are carried out;
  • Social Café with a diverse menu;
  • In the nearest future the SE plans to establish confectionary smart taste, which will have free delivery service within Tsnori.

Social Results

  • Knowledge Café is only free space for meetings, literature evenings, discussions, trainings and workshops at Sighnagi Municipality;
  • Social Enterprise hosted 93 cultural-educational activities in the last nine months, specifically more than 2000 children, young people, adults and elders attended events at knowledge café;
  • More than 35 people are having free English lessons at Knowledge Café. American volunteer Nick Morini carries out free English lessons at SE and teaches English to children, adults and elders;
  • Knowledge Café informed young people in other regions of Georgia to create similar spaces;
  • Local people can use the space for meetings without charge;
  • The Café hosts 5-10 meetings every month.
