About Social Enterprise
Social Enterprise Kodala was founded in 2013 by youth movement Davitiani. The SE produces clean wooden toys which improves child’s imagination, memory and helps them to develop motor skills.
Mission of SE
Facilitate resocialization, integration and employment of people with disabilities.
Goal of SE
The SE aims at facilitating employment and re-socialization of people with disabilities through producing ecologically clean products.
Production of SE
The SE offers its customers natural wooden production:
- Mechanical wooden Toys
- Puzzles
- Souvenirs
Currently the SE works in two directions
- Carving wood
- Art carving on wood
The paint does not fully cover toys, which enables children to feel energy of wood. The surface of toys is covered with ecologically clean German paint, which is safe for children and meets the European standards. The SE uses Georgian wood.
Social Results
People with several social status develop skills of working on wooden material. Among them are probationers, people with disabilities and socially vulnerable young people.
