About the Social Enterprise

Social Enterprise Art Coda was founded in 2010 by the Code Community Education Center.

Mission of Social Enterprise

The mission of the social enterprise is to integrate the IDPs from South Ossetia living in the village of Koda in Tetritskaro Municipality into the local community by promoting the education and employment of community members to facilitate the activation of local community life.

Product/Services

The center has introduced 16 types of vocational courses focused on the local labor market and the needs of the local community, such as:

  • Cloisonne enamel;
  • Painter;
  • Upholstered furniture manufacturing-restoration;
  • Car management and distribution;
  • Cell phone repair;
  • Computer repair;
  • Computer services;
  • Shoe repair;
  • Cutting and sewing;
  • Knitting;
  • Confectionery;
  • Office Manager;
  • Stylist;
  • Tapestry;
  • Souvenir making and more.

There are 12 types of personal development courses / trainings for the beneficiaries of the center, including:

  • Computer office software;
  • English language;
  • Computer Accounting Course;
  • Small Business Basics;
  • Writing projects;
  • Photography;
  • Drawing;
  • Performing arts and more.

Social Results

  • Up to 24,000 beneficiaries participated in various courses and events organized by the Center;
  • The enterprise employs 13 people.
